Desc: Marine Raider Memorial March: Directed by Allan Smith. On March 10th, 2015 A Helo carrying seven United States Special Operations Marines and four National Guardsman crashed in Navarre, Florida. Almost one year to the date, United State Marines both active duty and former Marines met in Navarre on March 8th for a ceremony remembering the fallen. Following the ceremony, Marines carrying 45 pound packs started a 770 Mile Ruck March in teams of two in route to Camp LeJeune, North Carolina. The Ruck March known as the 'Marine Raider Memorial March' was to honor the fallen servicemen and represents Brothers in Arms and to leave no man behind. Marines carried the only thing recovered from the crash, a Marine Raider paddle that is now on display at Stone Bay, Camp LeJeune, NC.
